Sustainable Consumption and Agri-food Ethics in the Global South: Developing Pathways to Impact

The project involves leading senior scholars collaborating as a multidisciplinary team spanning Geography, Management and Development Studies across the Universities of Newcastle, Durham, Sheffield and York. Bringing with them their established international links to leading universities in emerging economies, they will work in partnership with scholars at the University of Cape Town in South Africa (#14 in QS BRICS), Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in Brazil (#29 in QS BRICS) and Sun Yat-Sen University in China (#23 in QS BRICS). N8 Funding will enable the focused development of research impact plans with influential “impact carriers” across our three case studies in Brazil, China and South Africa, strengthening Pathways to Impact for ESRC and also potential GCRF bids.
