N8 AgriFood has officially launched its Food Systems Policy Hub as it looks to demonstrate real world impact from interdisciplinary research through policy intervention and guidance.
Policy impact has been a strategic area of focus for N8 AgriFood following its inaugural Policy Focus Week last year, with the programme harnessing expertise from across multiple disciplines over its eight member institutions, covering all aspects of the food chain.
Now N8 AgriFood has launched its Food Systems Policy Hub, which will act as a go to destination for independent research evidence and thought leadership to inform policy at local, national and international levels, drawing on N8 AgriFood’s work to create social and environmental change to tackle the various challenges facing the global food system.
The Policy Hub was launched with a week-long series of webinars focussing on specific areas of expertise linked to topics currently under review among policy makers. The areas covered were (follow the link in the titles to view the corresponding webinar):

The N8 AgriFood Food Systems Policy Hub website will showcase the latest Policy Briefs and Policy Guidance coming out of the N8 AgriFood programme as well as case studies of research leading to policy impact, examples of policy guidance and thought leadership through monthly blogs and a Global Food Risk Update.
