Building on the existing links of several N8 universities with the land-grant universities of the American midwest, we aim to bring UK and US scientists together to tackle global challenges in agrifood.

We’re seeking complementarities in our research priorities, as well as opportunities for technological transfer between the two regions.

In October 2019, we mapped N8 AgriFood expertise with five universities in the midwest. These are:

In addition, we are collaborating with Iowa’s Cultivation Corridor to boost mutual agritech innovation opportunities for UK and US businesses.
