N8 AgriFood Doctoral Seminar – Scientific Publishing Thursday 11th April 2019 at Durham University
This event is part of a unique series of informal, interdisciplinary workshops across the N8 universities (Durham, Lancaster, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield and York) for PhD students from both the natural and social sciences. Join us in Durham for the fourth in the series and; network with your peers across the N8 universities, develop your skills in scientific writing, learn more about the peer review process and the roles of editors and referees, discuss and pose your questions to scientific editors, reflect on publishing ethics and learn about the path into a career in scientific publishing.
We will have a series of talks, a workshop, a panel discussion and networking opportunities.
