This workshop focuses on improving traceability and transparency in global supply chains
The event brings together industry leaders and academics to share best practice in this space, and develop new ideas and solutions – based on cutting edge science and technology. It is industry-led and by invitation only to enable active participation.
Attendees will be working together with expert researchers and academics from one of the Russell Group N8 Universities (Durham, Lancaster, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield and York).
- Review the state of the art in the traceability of international supply chains including new blockchain collaborations
- Identify how traceability of supply chains adds business value and drives data needs
- Define tracking technology, data and partnership needs and
- Propose innovative applications to improve transparency, security and governance.
